TALKING TO THE CAST OF LYNN’S FATE. WHAT NEXT AFTER THE PREMIER?

The movie premier which passed on the 14th of May hosted a good number of attendees and a variety of artists.

As intriguing as the trailer was, so too is the movie itself. Though the crowd queued out of the BAMCCUL hall greatly impressed, so too was their curiosity increased.

WHAT IS THE CAST SAYING ABOUT THE MOVIE?

  1. AMABO ROY

The character Lynn is played by A. Roy who also triples as the producer and script-writer of the movie

About the movie, Roy says that he was aiming to unveil the shaded regions of Gender Based Violence (G.B.V). He explains that; “When you hear of GBV, the first thing people think of is that a woman is the victim. They fail to understand that even men suffer from GBV.

In his capacity as the lead male actor, the multi-talented Roy says that playing his role in the movie was not challenging at all. This, he says, was thanks to the helpfulness of the other members of the cast and the beautiful acting.

This is a creative piece of art that tells the story behind Lynn’s Fate.

  • KONGLIM LISBELTHA

She is the lead female in the movie, “Claris.” The naturalness with which she plays her role leaves the audience wondering whether she herself has ever been a victim of a student-lecturer relationship.

She however rebuts this assumption. According to her, the effectiveness with which she plays her character is owed to her two years of experience as an actress, as well as the professionalism of the cast and crew.

  • LOIC SUMFOR

Contrary to public opinion, this is not his first movie, but the second! Although this is not his debut movie, Loic confesses that being in front of the camera was a huge challenge.

However, the mightiest road block he admits to have encountered during the shooting of the movie was impersonating the character of another person.

In spite of all these overwhelming circumstance, the young artist says “The audience should expect more movie from me.”

  • KING PACCO

Yes, Lynn’s Fate is his debut movie. Although, the camera’s eye is not new to him he says that being in front of the camera has different effects on different occasion. He further explains that, “Walking down the runway and acting are just not the same. “

The mode\ actor says that during the shooting of Lynn’s Fate, “it was not easy being another person, worse still, cracking a rehearsed joke, – that was hard!”

King Pacco acknowledges that, this movie is a sign of growth and hope for Cameroon’s film industry.

  • BIHNWI BLEDILENE

She acts as Sirri, one of the significant female characters in the movie. The vocal actress confidently asserts that acting in this movie wasn’t challenging for her at all.

She expresses her appreciation for the script and the movie itself. She however laments about some drawbacks which prevented the movie from attaining the level envisioned by its crew and cast.

WHEN AND HOW WILL THE MOVIE BE RELEASED?

As of now, producer Amabo Roy says that they have no plans of releasing the movie on digital platforms anytime soon. He however says the audience should stay glued to their official Facebook page for more info.
